I was invited by the Save Ancient Studies Alliance archaeogaming team run by Kate Minniti and Alex Vandewalle to livestream a playthrough of "Curse of the Pharaohs", the DLC for Assassin's Creed: Origins. This will take place for 7 weeks, on Fridays from January 14 to February 25 at 2:00pm on SASA's Twitch channel HERE.
This will not only feature me playing in my own weird way with Bayek dressed in his towel and wielding a poisoned two-handed axe, but also I will be commenting on the accuracies or lack thereof in the game, as well as screaming about how cool it is, or cursing loudly when I get killed in a boss fight.
BUT, the 7-week event will also feature a new Egyptology or archaeology expert each week, including the Egyptologist Stuart Tyson Smith, who was the expert consultant on Stargate and The Mummy (Brendan Fraser version, aka the only version that matters). See the lineup, plus a couple of other featured events in the attached image,
